Web Development
Web-Site Development
The skills used to design, pitch and then develop a web site are very useful for Instructional Designers. Especially with increased usage of e-Learnings, or computer based experiences designed to foster a learning-rich environment.

An Instructional Designer does not have to say, be able to code out a full data gathering platform by hand. However, it is useful to know some basic HTML and even CSS computer languages for web site trouble-shooting.
